RIP THE FABULOUS MOOLAH

The Fabulous Moolah passed away in South Carolina last night. Born Lillian Ellison, Moolah was the most famous female wrestler. She was the WWE's first female champion and held the record for the longest title reign by any athlete in any professional sport. She was 84.

She continued to perform with WWE as recent as June of 2007.

Long live The Fabulous Moolah!

84?!?! My word! Are you sure it's no just Rick Flair in a wig? Speaking of which, did Rick Flair play the drunk dancer Ken in 'Strictly Ballroom'?

There was a special on cable called Lipstick and Bombshells (I think the name was that) had her and the other ladies of wrestling on it. She was a kick.
