if you hate your job If you hate your job and are currently looking for something better, then please post. This thread is for you. I do want to ask, since now you have admitted that you absolutely hate your job, how do you deal with it? Do you go to work in daydreams all day? Or do you even go as far as surfing the internet for jobs right there at your desk? (hey i've seen some people on my job do it boldly with a supervisor walking past their cube, you have to have balls to do that).
Anywho, post your thoughts. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I hate my job, I started out as seasonal help at Lord and Taylor last Christmas, now I have been promoted to a sales representative and specialist for Jones of New York clothing, the title sounds impressive but it's a lot more work with minimal pay added on to what I was doing before and a whole lot of ass kissing.

I hate my job. I mostly just go and do it any way, and continue to think of it as temporary. You know, until I find something better. I come home and have a look around, see if there's anything with comparable pay. And I tell my managers to kiss my ass, leave me alone, and I'll be out of their hair soon. This one's for you.

I've been working at my job for 8.5 years now and absolutely hate it. I'm waiting for this other position to open up and that is the only reason why I'm sticking around here. I've put in too much time and saved so much in my 401K to go somewhere else. My job has been more tolerable since I've been more social with my coworkers. Shake it til ya make it

I feel for everybody who posted about hating their job. I quit my job 10 months ago, because my boss was an idiot, and I could not stand working for him anymore. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

[Edited 11/5/07 10:27am] Oops, all gone just as I was going to respond. Did you feel it was too personal? Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about it and I can sympathize. I was going to add a few more thoughts but I'll refrain from that now.

yeah i hate my job too. I just came home from my first day of work since being out with my tonsillectomy surgery (those were some relaxing, yet painful two weeks) and I still feel that after a brief absence that the job just isn't for me. To me there's nothing worse than being on a job for 5 months and still feeling like you don't know how to do you damn job. Everybody around you (especially supervisors) are like, "oh feel free to ask as many questions that you have. We rather you ask questions than to assume that you are doing it right and really it's wrong". And one day you are doing it right, you do the same thing the next day its wrong. Talk about confusing. I've got to find me something else quick. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I feel for you, my last boss was the KING of contradiction. He would tell you something one day, and then turn around and tell you something different the next. He talked out of both sides of his mouth, which drove me nutso! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I too, hate my job. I took this position a little over a year ago, because the company I am working for capped the hourly position I was in. Simply, I was already making over the 'cap" amount of what they thought I should make. So, I made the decision to go salaried, and have regretted it ever since, I work more now than ever, and am not being paid for what I am worth. I work for the largest employer in the country beside the federal government, guess who?? I have had to sacrifice time with my family, and work the worst hours, all so I can pay my bills. If I didn't have so much time (15 years) invested with the company I would try to change, but I have the bills, and my children's future to think of, soooo I continue to work. Maybe one day I can be the big dog at the Home Office! The only LOVE there is, IS the LOVE WE MAKE ~ Prince
