Woman admits serving hubby dish of dog poop A Scottish woman who admitted serving her husband a dish of dog poop disguised in a curry was let off with a warning Thursday. Jill Martin, 47, pleaded guilty in Paisley Sheriff Court to culpable and reckless conduct. The prosecutor said Martin added the animal excrement to a curry her husband, Donald, had prepared and then set the dish in front of him. She watched as he began to eat it, then burst out laughing and stopped him. Defense lawyer Terry Gallanagh said the couple had been having problems in their 21-year marriage. According to the BBC, he described the background as "akin to an episode of 'Desperate Housewives.'" Sheriff Susan Sinclair said she was willing to accept that Jill Martin had been stressed out by an unhappy marriage, but "that does not take anything away from the fact that these charges are serious," she said. Sinclair said that since Jill Martin had already spent a night in jail following her arrest, she would merely admonish the woman. The Martins are now in the process of getting a divorce.
