Have u noticed that alot of people seem to be overly sensitive these days? I don't know about any of u, butSomeitmes I feel like I have to watch every word I say, which makes like difficult considering I tend to say whatever I am thinking
with the advent of modern technology such as computers and cell phones it had made it even more difficult because u can put tone of voice of facial expression and people get offeneded by quite innocent comments or jokes because they think u are being serious.....and yes...it happens on here quite alot!!!

ive been having that problem on campus here in my house
one of my housemates (we're real close) and i left a few notes around the house so that the other two girls would pick up their slack and start pulling weight around here where cleaning is concerned

we were confronted that day, they claimed that we were offending them and that if we had a problem we were to come and talk to them face to face...
that's when i said i can be a lot nicer on paper than you'd like to see face to face..they've been helping out more now ^_^

eventhough i made the horrid mistake of giving them my cell phone number and now one of them called me while i was out the other day to ask if i had stole her food from the freezer i've been busting my ass in school for the past week, meaning i haven't been home to cook ANYTHING, and she knew this - yet she felt it was a big enough deal to call MY cell phone and use MY airtime to accuse me of something we BOTH know is false.
I have yet to tell her to never call my cell phone again - perhaps i'll leave her a nice little note

I do not beleive that to some of these people that they are just words on a screen. I believe some of the people here as just as bad as they come off as. I also believe that some of them don't have the balls to say the things they say face to face. If that makes me pathetic in your eyes or anyone else's here, so be it.

There are people who are over sensitive and thats just how they are. I dont look at it as a bad thing I just tend to watch what I say. I joke a lot on this site cuz I really take nothing serious here but I've notice some people do. I really dont want to hurt anybody's feelings so sometimes I'll just chill out.

I think there are many here that have an agenda and look for offense. I also think that many of the same ones only do so because here, on a website there are no real consequences to acting the way that they do, in real life there is no way they would be so petty and reactive because, likely, they would get their asses whipped for being a knob.
That said there are also some trolls here that just poke at known issues in order to get the said "sensitive" ones to react.

All in all it is just like real life in as much as you meet all sorts of people. Everyone from the org that i have met (meeting Donnie and Ben tomorrow ) i have got on with very well. I have been taken for a ride by 2 of them but then just because we get on here it does not mean that we will IRL. For the most the people i have met from here are wonderful folks and many are/will be life long friends. I am pretty sure that the trolls/keyboard warriors/ stirrers would never show at a meet or at least would never be like they are here IRL. There is a big difference between defending a position or belief and being a cock....the cock's would never show, those with passion and compassion do.
