TV shows you hate to love

I know it's silly but I love them. TV show where people go looking for loved ones. You know, a man that goes looking for his sister that he lost connection with when their parents divorced 40 years ago. A woman that goes looking for her high school love now that she's 75 and her husband died. An adopted girl that goes looking for her natural parents.

The shows always make my eyes wet and feel happy in a funny way.

I don't know why, and I shouldn't, but I really watch every episode biggrin

I would have to say Maury Povich also, I don't get to watch much because of work.

I especially like the shows where they have to figure out who the baby's daddy is.

It's a long running show on Dutch television called 'Vermist' (missing in English). The people from the show go lengths to find the missing people based on a picture and/or an address from 20/30 years ago and in the end (almost always) the missing parent or son or daughter or friend turns up in the studio ... guaranteed tearjerker bawl
