If that's the most terrible thing you do today then you are doing good.
Go add some water to it. Won't that help? Most kitchen disasters can be saved with a little tweaking. Oh, once when I was about 12 my mom called me to make a meatloaf for dinner. She talked me through it over the phone. She didn't tell me I was supposed to actually shape it in a loaf. I guess she thought that was a given. I spread it out in the pan and when she got home it was burnt solid! She still teases me about that. OK, so not really answering your question....

underwatering my dried soup usually yields positive results for me. have you tried powdered miso? add water to that with an eyedropper. sure, you'll end up with a thick paste, and it's kind of salty, but you won't be disappointed. okay, you probably will, but i enjoy it. oh. never mind. sorry about the cuppasoup

I have some miso at home, I never know what to do with it. Every month I buy all this healthy stuff and it just stays, trapped in the closet. Like R Kelly.

Like R Kelly. you have the block of miso? yeah, i think you just add a schmear of it to hot water from the tea kettle, mix it with a spoon a bit, and you have a cup of soup. but when i bought it, i just let it get gross and crusty in the fridge until it looked like i was collecting ear wax in my crisper. not a good thing.
