What Do U Miss From Ure Childhood?

It could be anything from those 70's flares, Grandma,s baking, Ure first pet, Atari, He-Man Cartoons, Tv Shows or those neon socks from the 80's ( we all know we had at least one pair lol)

Mostly that people had time for and interest in meeting up and actually doing things together. These days it sometimes feels like arranging a meetup with a friend is as hard as getting audience with the king. neutral

Then there's the feeling of having endless possibilities. I miss that too.

Wow there is so much..I grew up in the 70's & 80's. But I have to say I miss summer's as a kid, where we would all wake up early and play all day and night. Riding bikes, building tree houses, flashlight tag. We were hardly ever inside the house, and since I came from such a small town, your parents could open the door and yell for you when supper was ready. lol Awwww...how I miss those times!

What I miss the most from my childhood is...well...my childhood.
Allow me to explain...
At a very young age, I was found to have a genius level IQ. All throughout my school years, my teachers pushed me and pushed me and pushed me to live up to what I was capable of. Which would have been fine, except for the fact that they approached it the wrong way and I ended up rebelling.
I was never really afforded the opportunity to just be a kid.
So, I try to keep myself as young as I can these days...but, it's a poor substitute for something I should never have lost in the first place.

I used to love making a tent in the back yard with my brothers out of a sheet and a couple of sticks and sleeping out there with our blankets and sometimes mum would let us make a campfire

Just feeling like I didn't have a care in the world. The world was perfect and safe and beautiful.

Spending weekends at our summer house on the river.

Sleeping in.

Dance lessons and performance.

Waking up on Christmas morning with such excitement and believing in Santa.
