Thank you. He was an incredible man. He fled to Canada when he was 14, having grown up during Hitler's reign. He was forced into the Hitler Youth and his older brother was placed in a concentration camp for listening to the BBC on his radio. Nobody ever heard from him again.

He played jazz trumpet, fell in love, and my dad was born in Vancouver soon after. There are so many things I could say about him right now, but it doesn't really matter.

RIP, Arnulf Schweitzer. Our family is without a patriarch. I feel like my history is dead. I wish I were dead.

Yes it does make sense..you sound like the female twin of my Sweetie...he to was a player..out to just have fun..then I came along...and he feels the way you do. All these emotions are sometimes hard for him..it's not something he has ever let happen. He has once told me about the losing himself because he was so focused on me and our relationship...I tell him..it's worth it..and he has told me I make him a better man.

But if you feel like you are losing yourself to much..take time for you, away from the relationship..that always helps.
