Cats. Dogs have no pride. 99% of the animals performing "stupid pet tricks" on David Letterman are dogs. disbelief

I have to go with dogs. Their meat texture is more chewy and the flavor stays in the mouth much longer.

You are right. I was tempted, because I can't have dogs on my show. The network says no to dog, cat and monkey. While these animals are eaten in various countries, because of our own culture’s deep-rooted unease with eating this kind of animal, it has been decided not to go there in this show.

But I think you should apologize for calling me a troll.

Well, I didn't remove it because it still represents the differences of cultures and eating habits. However, I did edit the picture to suit your appetite. I don't want to ruin the experience for you. I hope that this is a compromize you can live with.

I may be mistaken, but I doubt that this is a picture of your dog. That would be, by all means, a crude experience, I have to admit.

Since I doubt that your friends sold their dog to the local market butcher, I'd say it's a safe shot that this dog isn't that of your friends, especially considering that China has a population of more than one billion people.

For the record, no one has more respect for animals than I do. Did you know that one of the three earmarks for societal disassociatives is writing passive-aggressive posts to TV show hosts that indicate that the writer sort of misses the point of the show itself?

If I ever went to China and saw some local butcher do this to a dog, I'd prolly go over to him, grab his big ole butcher's knife and make mince meat outta that mothafucka. Ain't nobody eatin' dogs on my watch lol

I'm a cat person. I adore kitties. Mine is curled up next to me right now, pissed that the computer is taking up her preferred napping spot.

I love dogs too, but I've found that I have very mixed feelings about actually living with one. The quasi-child-who-never-grows-up thing can get old and annoying. I think they're very cool creatures, though, and I love watching them interact.

if had to chose one or the other it would be a dog but I have a soft spot for most all four legged furry animals.

My parents ended up taking him to some farm out in the country.

I've never had a pet, but I know without a doubt that I'm a cat person. It's some weird connection that I tend to have with cats that I've never had with any other animals. We used to have lots of strays in the 'hood, and I would feed them KFC and luncheon meat. They would tear it up. Now it's rare to see strays probably due to the infestation of racoons. I do like lizards, and I find snakes intriguing from a distance or at least on tv or behind a glass case. With dogs, I'm more cautious around them, and there are certain breeds that I don't like at all.

My dog went to Puppy Island. I've looked for it on a map but haven't found it yet, but when I do, I'm going to visit Puppy Island and see my dog again.

I can't wait!
