She claims it's so the kids won't be going to school in the dark...I have no idea nor do I care. It's only an hour. | |

It actually has a bunch of uses according to the goverment, but the primary driving force is economic. There are fewer accidents during daylight hours requiring fewer public resources, less electricity is used since most folks are at work and turn their AC up when they're not in the house , or turn their applicances off, schools don't require as much electricity in keeping lights on, etc. etc. I'm not sure it works, but that's just me | |
