And that makes it even more romantic, really. That they've chosen you over all else and everyone else that may come along (for a period of time, at least), when there's all that possibility out there. i do agree with that take. it's not like i haven't experienced love since, or that i never will again. i do think that we get many, many chances at love. the problem is, if there IS a "one" i don't think you necessarily know it at the time. i mean if you'd asked me 10 years ago, if i'd still be thinking about her now i'd have probably laughed. i know that i didn't get then that she'd end up being "the one that got away". but she is. i mean as fucked up as this sounds, and i've had quite a few relationships in the last 10 years, but holding someone has NEVER felt right since she left. like she just fit there. it even sounds crazy as i'm typing this, but it's true. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

OH MY GOD. SLIGHTLY OFF TOPIC, YET SLIGHTLY APPROPRIATE.
I'm on the Halloween Committee here at work (I know...) and was taking tamales out of the oven in the break/conference room when I turned around and Neo was standing right in front of me, full on with shades, a full-length leather jacket, big boots and a smile. I almost fainted.  Sexiest Halloween costume ever.

I just keep finetuning and hope for the best. |

Well, I can't answer this question because I don't think there is ONE true love for us. I think that we could have more than one in a lifetime. I have screwed up love before definitely. Maybe not all my fault, but I'm certain I contributed to the demise.
I think it's sort of sad to think that there is only one person out there for us. Kind of depressing actually. | |
