I found the wig at a costume shop. I'm wearing some black platform thong sandals that have bamboo or something across the top. My purse is a little chinese takeout container that's black with red floweres embroidered on it and a bamboo handle. OK, I know the purse is probably chinese and geisha are japanese, but it still matches.
I spent an hour today online learning how to tie the obi. Sitting down is actually difficult. The kimono wants to flap open at my legs. I'm gonna have to be careful. I have a slip on underneath, but it's sheer.  |
