Do you think it will help, (reading the sports columns) Probably not There are some teams that I haven't followed enough so I wanted to read what some sports commentators were saying and/or predicting. I had a tough time this week.

I had a tough time this week. I had to look @ some injury reports and players being listed as probable or game time decisions didn't make my choice(s) any easier. I even changed a pick and I'm thinking of changing another. Too many injuries this season for a lot of teams. which makes it even harder too pick because you don't know how the backup player(s) are going to play. You're doing well so far, -5 there just my be a girl Org Pickem Champion after all.

SEAHAWKS GAMEDAY SEATTLE (4-3) AT CLEVELAND (4-3) Kickoff: 1:05 p.m., Cleveland Browns Stadium. The series: Seattle leads series, 11-4, with the Seahawks winning three of the past four meetings, including the past two. The last meeting was in 2003, a 34-7 Seattle win. Both teams are coming off wins over St. Louis -- the Seahawks prior to their bye week. The Browns have won two in a row for the first time since 2003. They possess one of the most potent offenses in the NFL, with quarterback Derek Anderson ranked behind only New England’s Tom Brady with 17 touchdown passes, nine to WR Braylon Edwards. TE Kellen Winslow is another dangerous target. RB Jamal Lewis has been nicked up in recent weeks. The Browns have to score a lot because their defense is last in the league, giving up 410 yards a game and almost 28 points. The Seahawks will try to get both their running game righted and work WR D.J. Hackett back into the offense against a defense that is susceptible to the big play. This is Seattle’s first trip to the Eastern Time Zone since they were drubbed, 21-0, by the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be the 16th all-time meeting between the two teams with Seattle holding an 11-4 advantage, but only the third meeting since 1994. The Seahawks won the 2001 season-opening matchup on September 9 in Matt Hasselbeck’s first-career start by the score of 9-6, won on a Rian Lindell 52- yard field goal with :03 remaining. In the most recent game on November 30, 2003, Seattle defeated the Browns, 34-7, to improve to 7-0 at Qwest Field en route to a perfect 8-0 home record. Hasselbeck threw for three touchdowns and Shaun Alexander rushed for one score, and, for the first time in franchise history the Seahawks produced a 300-yard passer, a 100-yard rusher and two 100-yard receivers in a single game. Seattle is 1-1 this season vs. opponents from the AFC North.

july said: Manning vs. Brady Once as the The Passer (Peyton Manning) vs. The Winner (Tom Brady), Manning and Brady enter today’s contest as the top-ranked passers in football based on passer rating. And while Brady (30 touchdowns, two interceptions) is having a truly historic season, Manning (13 TDs, three INTs) has been typically efficient. This year, Brady is answering one of the biggest questions of this debate in recent years: What if he had the same weapons as Manning? With eight games still to play, Brady is on pace for a stunning 60 TD passes, a number that would shatter the record of 49 currently held by You Know Who. One man (Brady) has played the majority of his games outdoors while the other (Manning) has played all of his home games indoors. Brady became the Patriots starter in 2001.
