I think I'd love Paris, and many places in Italy, like Tuscany or Florence (not so sure about Rome).
NYC is a great city, but like many, only if you can afford it. I think some of the most beautiful places I've seen in the US are California (both mountain & ocean) Wyoming--incredible trees & mountains Virginia--green green rolling hills Tennessee--more green hills Oregon--Portland is a nice looking city, along with the natural beauty I was surprised at how cool Oklahoma City looked, and much of OK was beautiful as well. My least favorite places in the US? Nevada New York (Buffalo) East St. Louis Southern Idaho Kansas My Legacy

Yes, but I used to do it every day from Malibu to Santa Monica, which was a hellish commute. Have you been to Big Sur? Oregon's coast is amazing, too, and even more than CA because there are no big cities anywhere on it! [Edited 10/30/07 15:45pm] My Legacy

...Wall Drug was here... never rode a kangadear ... where's this at ? I think that's technically a Jackelope South Dakota, there are billboards for hundreds of miles advertising "free ice water...six foot rabbit...wax museum..." I've never seen so many billboards and I had to stop. It's the biggest gift shop in the world, basically. [Edited 10/30/07 16:08pm] My Legacy

Careful, im italian and i visit those italian cities almost yearly and they are the least italian experience you can have. I swear all you can hear is american accents...dont even bother with venice or rome if you wanna hear any italian at all... cheeseburger said: Lets see: New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit , Toronto, Korea, Seattle, Denver, Albuqueuque, Omaha, Kansas City, St louis, New Orleans, Tampa, Memephis, dllas, Houston, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Cheyenne, Rapid City, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Fargo, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Davenport, and others too!! So yeah I been everywhere except Boston!!
So mainly america and +1 canada? I was just surprised that you picked LA and LV as faves...kinda tacky/poulluted cities... oh well each to his/her own! RIP 1958-2016 Prince RIP 1947-2016 David Bowie

NDRU said: San Francisco is amazing but it's nearly impossible to find a place there & afford it. But it seems everyone who visits wants to move there.
I think CA has great weather and vast stretches of natural beauty, but there are lots of cool places in this country--except in Florida!! Everywhere except San Francisco. The weather is usually abysmal here (especially on the border near Daly City). It's rarely warm and the sky is usually a deep shade of gray. And Ocean Beach sucks! You have to drive to Pacifica for the closest one that's decent. However, the weather in the rest of the state is amazing.

speaking of San Francisco....I'm going there this weekend for a friend's Birthday party at Ruby Skye.I've never been to this nightclub before,is it any good?
The one thing I hate about San Francisco is driving in that city. It's hard to find parking, there are too many one-way streets, and too many lost tourists who don't know where they're going, lol.
