I hear you. You never know when the last time you'll see someone will be, so I say "I love you" as much as I can.

I've made mistakes in business that have cost $$$$$, but that's part of it.

The most expensive mistake I made outside of business was not buying a 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda convertible. It was possibly the rarest '70 'Cuda convertible ever made. It had THREE fender tags, if you know what that means.

Today, it is worth in the $100,000's. I could have bought it seven years ago for $12,000 but I was too smart to do that!

Basically, it was this car but in Moulin Rouge (a dark pink) with a white interior:

No kidding! Here's a car in the same color as the one I passed on. It's a clone - which means it's been built from other cars' parts - and it's being offered for $189,000: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaym...0175626853

Another car mistake I made: One day, in the mid-80's, for some reason I decided to visit my old boyhood home. The family was there and they were very gracious, letting me look at the house again.

As I was leaving, the Dad said, "Hey let me show you something. I took this car away from my son because he kept getting tickets. I want to get rid of it. How much do you think it's worth?"

It was a 1969 Shelby Mustang. It needed paint and body work. Instead of offering the guy a thousand dollars for it, I told him to get it painted and repaired and it would be worth maybe $10K.

Today, it's worth 10 times that much!

How did you mix Stevie with Jeff Healey? falloff

My most expensive mistake was counting on a good friend to pay me back thousands of borrowed dollars. What a pushover I was. smile It was worth learning, despite the amount.
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

I can't think of anything either - except for clothes that I bought in the past and never wore.

Got rid of a car for $400 when it had to be worth at least $1200...

Consolidated my school loan, not realizing in 20 years that fucker just goes away. Now I'm stuck with it forever...

Bogus car repairs advised by lyin' ass mechanics...
