Holiday Camps

Do you go or have you ever been to a holiday camp for your holiday? I went to Butlin's once with my old football team for an end of season break. It was horrible. Everything broke. We were playing football on some spare grass and broke a window from the table tennis hall. I also cracked a window with my knee trying to escape from some girls.

The food was disgusting too. I had a really surly look on my way to dinner once and one of the reps gave me that whole, 'smile, you're face wont crack' spiel. 'Fuck off' I thought.

Highlight of the weekend was smashing my golf ball out of the crazy golf pen.

All I can think about is Tommy's Holiday Camp from the Ken Russell "Tommy" movie.

"Welcome to the camp
I guess you all know why we're here
My name is Tommy
And I became aware this year"

You've never seen "Tommy?" Well, I hope you've at least heard the album from The Who.

About 14. My hormones were running about like crazy and I was too shy to talk to them when they came knocking on my door.
