I check out the dude's website a few times a day, although I have to admit I'm getting tired of it.

What I didn't think I'd get tired of was the travails of Britney Spears, but guess what? There's no Britney coverage on www.perezhilton.com any more!

I didn't notice it until I read a comment in one of the articles where someone sarcastically asked Hilton if it was true Spears' lawyers got an injunction against him.

I checked, and I had to go back 10 pages to find any Spears stuff. I bet she DID get an injunction.

I think he's vile, but for some reason I can't help but like him. He looks like someone who would have been treated like shit in high school, and I can't help but root for those types.

I have been doubting lately that he's been writing his own material on the blog recently, which is lame. I understand that he's getting his 15 minutes of fame and he might need ghost writers to keep things moving, but he should at least hire people whose writing kinda reads like his own - it couldn't be THAT hard.

I just don't get celebrity obsession for anyone that is over the age of 15.

Hating some celeb that you don't know personally but talk about and like to read about often is just as obsessive as loving them, imo.

The whole thing is very creepy to me.

My take on him is that he discovered how to be an entrepreneur ad he banked when lightning hit.

I think he does a sort of good job on a few things like bringing good music to the table and calling things as he sees them. Certainly he shows us how ugly Hollywood and celebrities really are. However I think it's gone to his head...in a big way. He's almost become the celebrity he writes about. I think I would be a little more apt to like him if he was a little humble and didn't try to be bigger than he really is. I also don't like his take on old, fat and ugly. I mean really...that's not news it's just something to put up because he has nothing. And he should talk for one who is fat AND ugly AND has terrible taste in the clothes he wears.

He also conducts his business in a very unprofessional manner. It IS a business and one should treat it as such.

I've only been to the site when clicking on a link here. I don't feel strongly about it either way. I consider it the same way I do a show like Entertainment Tonight. I'm not sure why I should care.
