there's this nightclub back home by the same name, i hear they sell it
but the whimp version, minus the wormwood (i think that's the magic ingredient?)

i'd love to try it either way, real or not
just to see what all the buzz is all about

Ive never tried it,,,but am curious as well...i use to hear peeps bragging about "hypnotique"..a blue congnac(sp) liquer...i bought it & hated it...& it was NOT cheap.
absinthe is pricey too..so im not gonna buy it before i try it.

We buy Absente , it's one of my vices.
You can get it in the US now. It's the closest to the old recipe Absinthe that you can get in the US.
It has Southern Wormwood in it and has legal levels of thujone which is the chemical that gives it that lovely kick.
It is similar to pot but different enough to be interesting.. I like it better myself.
