well last week I had a tonsillectomy, the tonsils came out, but unfortunatley, because i'm 25 and not 5 years old, it's a bit hard to deal with. You know what they say, the older you get the worse it gets. Then to top it off my boyfriend hasn't been there for me as much as I thought he would. He'd rather get drunk with his friends than to see about his girlfriend, therefore, this lead to an arguement and serious doubt in our relationship. I mean if i can't depend on him now when i'm down and out and in pain, then if we ever got married, it wouldn't be better, it would be worse. So yeah, i'm thinking i'm wasting my time with him, and that we probably should break up. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

don't you get to eat yummy ice cream all day when you have a tonsillectomy? anyways...I'm sorry that you're boyfriend is being an ass. I was in a similar situation and it just puts you in such a difficult position. I know that I hate giving up on people but how can you have a future with some on who puts you second or third when you need to be first? Good luck.  | |

Thanks to Mercury being in retrograde, everything has been pretty fucked up for me this week.
Wednesday one of my schedule tour guides didn't show up to give their tour to 40 3rd graders so that sucked. Thursday I had organized two guides for a special topic tour and that was all disorganized (long complicated story). But the icing on the cake was Friday when I woke up to get ready for work only to discover there was NO WATER in my apartment! Not just no hot water--no fuckin' water, period!  And I had a 9:30am meeting with my boss, a development officer and two people from a foundation that we were asking to fund our tour program. And if I don't wash my hair everyday (I think) it looks greasy. Ugh. Then as the perfect ending to my shitty Friday, I got stuck in the pouring rain coming home from work.

now that sounds horrible. although it is kinda ironic that on the same day that you didn't have water you also got stuck in the pouring rain. Kinda like the universe was saying, "Here's your water!"

GOD! Seeeeeriously, WHY do I have to be so restless at night? It doesn't matter how effing tired I am or how much my eyeballs feel like pissholes in snow I STILL wont be able to drift off

Thought this week would be better, but it's off to a crappy start, too. The room at work that we use for workshops was supposed to be set up a certain way by 10am. At 10:45am I am in the room with the cleaning guy, sweeping & moving chairs/tables around b/c they hadn't done it!  | |
