Can someone help me with TURNTABLES?

any recommendations?

what about stylus?

I have acheap bush mttt1 and it's conected through my technics hi fi amplifier but it doesn't sound right

I've started buying lots of vinyl and need the best turntable

Any thoughts please?

Can't go wrong with a Technics SL1200 MKII

Just bought one from Ion something or another.... it's a turntable that plugs in to your computer with a usb cable. I love it..... then you can download free software that will convert your records to mp3's.... the best invention EVER... well not ever but lately... nod

If you go with Techniques, you can go wrong. Those are the standard. You don't even have to get top of the line either.

Technic 1200 MKII or MKIII.
Any needle that fit this wil probably due. $40 or more. Don't get the cheap needles.

Actually, what I said was you can't go wrong getting a Technics SL1200 MLK II. I stand by that statement.

Also, make sure that your amp has a phono input, and you're using it. You can't plug a turntable into a regular line input like where your CD player goes because turntables do not have preamps.

ooops...I meant can't instead of can. Techniques are the thing to have.

The Sure M97xE is an excellent cartridge that pairs well with the SL1200 if you are just listening to vinyl at home.

For DJ use, the Stanton 500.v3 is pretty much standard.
