OMG - 3 more hours of work and my mind is going numb

ill

Fridays are ass.

I mean, seriously. I can't concentrate. And as hard as I try to avoid the org, I simply can't do that either.

And judging from the threads on page 1 here, this is a really really bad thing.

I really want to be productive, but now that my projects have slowed down after the Aug/Sept hellish period, I'm like sooooo useless.

Whos' Friday is draggin ass right now?

How's your rashes?
Got any weekend plans?
Isn't a micro black hole developing near Earth a bigger thread than gamma rays?

My rashes have not improved.
I will be water fasting in the next month to get rid of them or it is hoped.

I don't know about the micro-blackhole, but I'm struggling to understand how one could develope since you need a solor object capable of fusing heavier elements into iron which requires at least 10 solar masses. confuse

Now I'm going to spend hours at work googling micro blackholes falloff

My weekend plans are to finish cleaning the house, and get some kayaking in by myself---I need some alone time with nature. nod

1. Figuring out cost estimates for projects
2. Getting CEO, Exec, program manager buyoffs
3. Explaining to my developers in India why they are fucking up and what they need to do to fix a solution--I mean, explaining it in very great detail.
4. Making my clients feel like the crappy product we're about to script and deploy to them is exactly what they need.
5. Lots and Lots and Lots of negotiating and posturing.

My job is a Project Management job, but I'm required to know a great deal more technically about the work being done that normal PMs would. We're almost techs ourselves. So it makes it exhausting sometimes.

omg this happens to me all the time. Sometimes I just give in and org the rest of the day (when my boss is gone and she can't see me). Or I sit myself in a little corner and give myself a pep talk to keep going. lol The most effective approach for me is to find the most mundane, mindless task available and do that. Like filing! woot! Or simple data entry! woot! That way I can get something done and not use the brain and give the impression that I am actually working.
