I bowl every Thursday night. Been doing it for a long time - most recently with some friends from Scouting, etc. We are not hard-core bowlers. But, we ARE professional beer-drinkers and joke-tellers, so we don't really care that we finish toward the bottom each year.

I had a career night tonight. My series was 637, with games of 180, 201 and 256. The 256 isn't my highest game ever, but it was close (I threw a 268 once). I think that was my highest series ever.

I like bowling because it never gets rained out, you can't get hurt, they bring you food, and drinking beer makes you better.

U bowled a 256???

I only wish I can get that high.

It's all in the ball. These days, they make these synthetic balls that make 90-degree turns into the pocket. My ball's not that extreme, but it sure does hook a lot more than my old Hammer (purchased in 1983) used to.

My husband was bowling in the high 100's and low 200's. Two weekends ago he went to a pro clinic and they helped him change his stance and approach. Well, it worked. He bowled a 284 the next week.

i've never done ten pin

we used to have a community night where all our neighbors would go
when i was little. coincidentally it was also teddy bear bowling night.
(high score took home a bear) and my uncle was a kick ass bowler.

Bowling is fun. I am not very good at it, but when I was younger my parents both played in leagues.

I used to bowl. I bowled a 287 once, beat my dad's butt that day.

279 is my personal high score. I have bowled a few 700 series. My father has two 300 games. Bowling is easy to me. I haven't bowled in years, but I can bowl 200 with no problem.

I love bowling

I have never bowled more than a 200 but I love bowling. It's a lot of fun trying to beat your friends.

My grandma, who has been in a seniors bowling league with her husband for decades, just bowled a 300 last month. She is the fourth oldest woman in the country to bowl a perfect game and got her picture on the website of the brand of ball she uses. She's also getting sponsored by them, which apparently means they're going to buy her a few more balls and some gear and stuff. I can't remember the details, because she was screaming and jumping when she was telling me.

And the best I've done is 126. I was 9. I've only gotten worse since.
