Hey I had some cookies once that had bit of it in them. I can't remember where they hell I got those cookies from but man, they were delicious.

never tried it, but i thought it was meant to be used in cooking, not eaten straight like that.

I did get hooked on ginger altoids though back when they were available.

definately try it.

but i think it's because of growing up and using ginger in everything
my parents are jamaican, so we always had an abundance of HOT ginger beer in our homes (it's not alcoholic for those who think it is - alcohol isn't needed for this type of drink)

nothing like a cold bottle of ginger beer with a few slices of ginger on the side
