Rockies and Red Sox: The official 2007 World Series thread

Game 1 starts in four hours and unless I've missed something, no-one here has written anything about it. How come? Does no-one care?

Boston is kicking ass right now. The Rockies are good, they are having a hard time being at Fenway and having too much time in between games. Once they acclimate I think they will give us a run for our money.

I'm a Sox fan living in Boston (loved hearing the F-18s fly over my house then seeing them on TV about 20 seconds later), and decided yesterday morning that, as tired as I've been recently with the ALCS and a sick 9-month-old, I would go to bed and miss the rest of the games only if and when the Sox were up by 12-1 by the end of the 5th. Well, 12-1 came and went, but by the 13-1 end of the inning, I decided it was safe to go to bed...

Tonight I've decided if we're 7-2 up in the 6th, I'll risk going to bed and missing the end.

Hate these 8:30 starts...

lol I know, I wanted to go to bed too but you just never know what can happen in a Sox game! They could be up 10 points and lose in one inning.

Funny, when I was watching the F-18s fly by I was thinking to myself "how cool would that be to see them fly over your house!".

What do you think about that phony "lifelong Yankess fan" Rudy Guiliani rooting for the Red Sox?

It was expected. There was too much rust from inactivity to think the Rockies had any chance of getting to Beckett.

The Rockies look like a team of destiny, and I just can't get behind Manny Ramirez.

Rockies in 7.

10 points, LOL. Honey, in baseball, they're called "runs". razz
