You're bad (but I did smirk just a little....) I am not looking forward to dementia. My grandmother is about 85+ and spent all last Christmas day in the emergency room. A week later my parents talked to her & she didn't remember any of it, but she can still remember the names of the people she befriend on her trip to Jamaica 30 years ago. I am, however, looking forward to being a crochety old lady. "You damn kids get the hell out of my way!" :waves cane:

My biggest fear is losing my memory. I have no care in the world about my hair turning grey or falling out, my skin wrinkling (at least not when I'm elderly), and the like---but losing my memory of who I am and who I love--that scares me. 1 in 4 adults will get it.

I was talking to my girlfriend and we agreed that the absolute very best thing a person could hope for from life was to watch a longtime lover & life partner lose their memory/die from a terrible disease and leave us alone & unwanted, waiting to do the same.
Ain't life grand? I probably fear dementia & cancer the most. And possibly attempting to live on limited retirement funds. My Legacy

Stay alert, keep active. Not so bad? Then tell me how to defy gravity!!!! I mean at least I'll have boobs when I'm 60 but I'll need an implant to keep them from looking like pancakes.

Increasingly poorer health, to the point where I can no longer care for myself and am wholly dependent on others.
Realizing the luxury of "Someday I'll get around to doing this, going there" et al. is no longer an option, simply for lack of enough time and health.

But at least your breasts will sag in proportion to your face, that's something to be grateful for Getting old is weird. I feel like the lines, sagging & pain are temporary, but they are simply not getting better. It's hard to express. I don't feel like I'm in decline, I just feel like my whole body is in need of attention (lotion, rest, exercise) that it will probably never get, unfortunately. My Legacy
