right after my Grandfather died, I would smell his cologne, it would be a very strong scent and then it would go away, freaky!

Was it reassuring or scary?

My mom only visited me once. I was in the kitchen and I just felt her. I burst into tears. It was about a year after her death.

My best friend Frank is around all the time. He makes me laugh. I always have the urge to call him. It's weird but with him it gets harder and harder when I think about him and how much I miss him.

My cousin Ernie came around once but my roommate saw him, I didn't.

I didn't bring this up because of Halloween or anything. It's just that my mom's birthday was October 1st and my best friend died on October 3rd, 2 years ago.

So last night I went dancing and had a great time. I came home, watched a little t.v. and went to bed. Well, I couldn't sleep. I felt like someone was in my room watching me. I basically said "Mom, Frank or Ernie, if it's you, please don't scare me." I had to turn on my t.v. and try to sleep like that.

I'm not a scary person. I live by myself in a tiny house that was built in 1911 or 1916, I forget. I know all the creaks and groans of my house settling. Last night's noises were unusual. This has happened before. When it happens there's usually a death that follows.

We'll see what happens.....

we've talked at length about this, and you know I believe hug last week I was at my hometown in my Nana's house as she's in hospital still she had a huge operation - well, I love that house and have ever since I can remember. but I feel that my Pop (nana's husband and my Mum's Dad) is still there. there is a presence I'm sure of it nod

OMG! I think it's a Mexican/Latino thing. My cousin Maria experiences the whole tooth thing and it comes out right. Right now she's dealing with her own ghost in her house. The place she used to live before was OFF THE HOOK haunted. I hated that house. They were there for over 30 years. They moved when my cousin Ernie moved. People there are now experiencing many things.

The thing that scares me is that it's usually unexpected. My cousin Ernie was one of them. All of us woke up at around 3am when my cousin passed. Actually it was 3 of us that woke up. My cousin Maria, her brother Jose and me. We were the closest too.

OK, what the hell does it mean when you dream about your teeth falling out, pulling them out, or just plain horror stories about them? lol And it can't mean that because as many times as I've needed dentures in my dreams there would be nobody left around me alive lol

falloff

I don't want to answer for Moni but my cousin dreams that a tooth is falling out when there's a death.

I believe. That's interesting. If you feel it like that. Than, it's true.

Especially in a place that long standing.

Is very real. comfort

I just couldn't explain it. I mean I know the difference of being just spooked out because of one thing or another. I get all spooked out if I have caffeine too late at night. Last night was different.

Again, I couldn't sleep well last night. I kept hearing things. Hopefully it was just my imagination. I finally fell asleep and woke up at 3am. So now I think it's my cousin Ernie checking up on me. After that I fell right to sleep.

I hope people don't think I'm crazy after this. lol

The night before I heard lots of banging around my room. I also had that feeling like when someone is talking to you but they're standing super close. I didn't hear talking but I felt like someone was in my space. The sounds were subtle. Just weird. Last night I heard breathing. Again, it could be my imagination but I don't get spooked that easy. I really think it might have been my cousin. At first I thought it was my mom but it didn't feel like her. (she died in the room where I sleep).

its not just a hispanic thing.
I have had that teeth falling out dream and it is distressing. Now I am trying to remember if I had them around the time of deaths hmmm I just know that I was so scared by that dream that just typing about it now I am creeped out.

Deaths do come in threes.nod

My godmother visited me when my oldest was a baby, and told me she had wanted to hold her. neutral

My cousin and my friend both "saw" my dad in the days immediately following his death. I didn't see him or feel him.sad

On the night when my aunt died me, my mom and my cousin all woke up and were walking around during the hour of her death. It was interesting when we all talked about how we got up we discovered that we were all up at the same time even though we were all in different time zones and it was right around the time of her death. My cousin said that she not only woke us as she was passing but drove us from our beds. I remember checking my children that night.nod
