For those of you who believe.......

to quote Dead or Alive....."...there is something in my house, my house...!"

So last night I went dancing and had a great time. I came home, watched a little t.v. and went to bed. Well, I couldn't sleep. I felt like someone was in my room watching me. I basically said "Mom, Frank or Ernie, if it's you, please don't scare me." I had to turn on my t.v. and try to sleep like that.

I'm not a scary person. I live by myself in a tiny house that was built in 1911 or 1916, I forget. I know all the creaks and groans of my house settling. Last night's noises were unusual. This has happened before. When it happens there's usually a death that follows.

We'll see what happens.....

right after my Grandfather died, I would smell his cologne, it would be a very strong scent and then it would go away, freaky!

I do have a question...after this happens, how long does a death happen?

My Mom use to tell me when I would dream of losing my teeth a death would follow...and she also use to tell me deaths would fall in 3's.

I had one of those more real than real life kind of dreams about my grandmother and in the dream I smelled her and I was so shocked by that, I woke up and for about 5 seconds after I woke up I could still smell her.....

OK, what the hell does it mean when you dream about your teeth falling out, pulling them out, or just plain horror stories about them? lol And it can't mean that because as many times as I've needed dentures in my dreams there would be nobody left around me alive lol

It's an old tale my Mother use to tell me...you know some of that hispanic thinking...but she would tell me when you dream of losing a tooth, like it falling out...it meant death. Now there has been many times I have had dreams of losing a tooth and then a death would happen.

But like I said...hispanic thinking giggle Didn't your Mother tell you stories like that? Like of the Weeping woman?

My mom is half English and half Spanish so the scary stories came from my grandmother and my dad. My dad terrorized the hell out of us with the Cucuey (sp?) when we were kids. He used to tell us scary stories about it and then tell us goodnight and my younger sister and I would clutch each other all night long lol

Non Mexicans have no idea how scared we were of that thing lol I mention it and get blank stares from some people but mention it to someone who knows what it is and you have that scene of me and my sister clutching each other in the middle of the night played out in real time lol

Especially in a place that long standing.

Is very real. comfort

Supa, the teeth falling out dream is pretty common. Here are a couple sites that discuss it:

That is interesting you have had so many dreams about losing your teeth.

I have them probably at least once a month. At least. And I don't know about any of those explanations in those links but I agree with the first link where the person says they are more concerned about the actual loss of the teeth as opposed to their appearance, which is one of the explanations. Sometimes the teeth start falling out by themselves, other times someone is taking them from me, sometimes I am pulling them myself.

It's almost always traumatic lol Occassionally I am relieved to get them out of my head because of the condition they are in in the dream. One time I dreamed that I ran my tongue over my top teeth and I felt something weird and I went to the mirror and pulled up my lip and I was horrified. In the dream I ate late and didn't brush before going to bed and the eggs I had in my late night meal became embedded under my gums and the gums were infected and you could see eggs buried into my gums and it hurt and I took some pliers and I sat in front of the mirror pulling my own teeth because of how much pain the eggs were causing my gums eek W. T. F! lol

Does anyone ever have the dream about trying to keep an attacking dog from hurting you by grabbing the top of the mouth with one hand and the bottom of the other and pulling the mouth and keeping it open so it can't attack you? In the dream I always feel the pain of this in my hands and I am usually trying to pry the mouth to the point where the dogs head will split in half. Almost always I am trying to kill the dog so it doesn't kill me.

And you know what was so weird about that dream, the eggs were buried far under the gums. Like my gums would have to be 20 feet deep as far as those eggs were under there lol
