What Bad Experiences Have You Had With A Dentist? Based on June7's thread http://prince.org/msg/100/255507, I thought I would start this one.
My bad experience happened when I was 12 years old. I was having a cavity filled and the dentist told me to open my mouth wider. I opened my mouth as wide as any 12 years old jaw would go. Well my jaw was getting tired while he was working on my tooth and he stopped what he was doing and told me to open my mouth wide so I did. It was not good enough for him, he lost it. He slapped, that's right.... he slapped me across the face. I was shocked, scared and started to cry. After the dentist was done. I came out into the waiting area where my mother was waiting for me. I was crying and she asked me what was wrong. I told her. My mother was fucking She gave him a peace of her mind and reported him to the dentistry association. Right on mom!! Do not mess with mommy We never went back there again. But from that day forward I hate going to the dentist and will only go when it get's to the point that I have no choice Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! when I was young I used to be afraid of pulling my teeth out when they were loose. So because of this, when I was about 8 or 9, I had one of my adult teeth growing in OVER my baby tooth. Therefore, I couldn't really brush the baby tooth and it started to decay bad, and I wasn't pulling it out myself, so I had to go to the dentist.
They numbed me up with jelled novacaine and BAM hit me with a needle right into my gums and mother-of-fuck it hurt so bad, I screamed so loud, my stepmom, who was outside, heard me. It sucked. Since then I've been afraid of the dentist, even if it's something as trivial as a cleaning or something. Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

When I was expecting our second son Trevor, I had to have a tooth re filled because the filling fell out. This dentist I went to was my husband's dentist because mine retired. I had said to the dentist it usually takes 2 injections to get me numb. He does the first one waits, come backs and starts drilling. I said I could feel it and that fuck slammed the drill down, yelled at me, injected me again and then walked out. The assistant could see I was very upset. He came back finished the procedure and went to smoke a cigarette. When I left I told my mother in-law no wonder Jason was scared to go to dentist. The sad thing is that asshole still has a practice when he should have retired 15 years ago

About ten years ago my dentist told me that I would need a root canal done on a molar. I didn't have any pain or sensitivity, but I did what he recommended and went back in for my root canal. After he he took off my filling he looked puzzled, and then went back to the x-ray, flipped it over and said, oops wrong tooth.
I let him refill the tooth he just drilled to death, and never went back to that lousy $##@*&^%^&*%* ever again.

I had a very unique, perfectly formed double molar, almost like they grew one on top of the other....it wasn't causing me any issues at all, and everytime I went in for a cleaning, the dentist working on me would call other docs to take a look at it, apparently because it was so rare....so I go in for a routine cleaning right before I left Germany and the dentist thought I had a cavity (which would have been my first in life)...I have no idea to this day what she was looking at but she completely screwed the pooch, drilled it out and filled it....so now, my rarity is nothing more than a huge, filled clump at the back of my jaw....
....and as it turned out, it WASN'T a cavity...it was something that got caught in the gap formed between the teeth that could have been removed with a deep cleaning instead of the half assed cleaning she performed.....and to make it worse, she forgot to insert the lining before she filled the tooth, so the filling was sitting directly on the nerve....I don't recall exactly what I said as I went off on her ass, but I do remember being escorted out by the MPs.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

my wisdom tooth didn't come all the way in so they had to pull it.
The problem: they couldn't sufficiently numb my gums and my insurance wouldn't pay for them putting me under. they shot me in the gums 5 times (NO LIE). My face was numb but I could still feel the tooth. I told her to just pull it. She reached in.....there was a PAIN and she pulled it...didn't feel anything.

I had a really bad cavity when I was about 7-8 months pregnant with my last kid. I rushed into the dentist office that was by my house where I used to stay at and told the nurse that I was in alot of pain and I needed to see the dentist quick. You know this bitch smacked her teeth and had an attitude because she had to get up? she acted as if I was being over dramatic. I wanted to hop over the desk and choke the shit out of her. but I was hurting so bad I didn't want to burn any bridges , but the dentist was gentle. I ended up having the bad tooth and my wisdom tooth pulled. seemed the wisdom tooth was making it worse.

Dendists have my picture on their walls, because as a kid, I punched one of them, kicked one in the nuts, and bit a finger of another.

My first dental experience set me off for life and I am terrified of going I got my front teeth knocked out when I was 5 and they had to stich up my gums and when I went into the dentist office, he tricked me and had me look up at the ceiling at the superman and he stuck the needle into the roof of my mouth. Take your fingernail and stick it as hard as you possibly can manage and stand and imagine a needle piercin the roof of your mouth It was a real life nightmare
One time I did have an issue with a wisdom tooth and got assigned to a new dentist and when the dentist came in to talk to me, I literally almost ran right the fuck out of that room. He was crosseyed! Hell no was I going to let him use dental instruments in my mouth! But he had a bunch of dentists that worked for him so aside from the exam he didn't touch me. .
