That actually confused me when I saw it last night. Really had no purpose but to attack the Simpsons for paving the way first, I guess.Maybe it was a response to the whole Simpsons/Family Guy comparison deal. The Family Guy is one of the worst cartoon shows out there, they try to be funny by just shoving a whole heap of random crap at you all of which makes no sense and ends out ruining any "story" that is going on.
And the amount of Simpsons jokes ive seen used on it as well is just ridiculous! Ive seen a fair amount of it and i find it hard to laugh at the show just because it makes no sense, or if i do it isnt laughing for minutes funny its just a random chuckle. Now Robot Chicken that show can get away with being completely random as it doesnt follow a story of set characters or anything and parodies lots of stuff and does very well, unlike Family Guy. Another thing that shits me with Family Guy is all the stupid kids who watch it and think Adam West is from that show and have no idea he was the old school Batman!
