I was just wondering as I think mine is slowly dying. I need a new one.

Computers are usually considered obsolete after about 5 or six years, I used to wast money getting someone to prolong the life which can be very expensive. Just buy a new one.

It was updated and repaired not so long ago. Hopefully I will get a new one for Christmas. Then I will be asking questions about which computer is best for me.

the one I had until Jun06 was purchased 1997 I run with them for quite a while

About every 12 months but it usually gets rebuilt twice in that time and ugraded once.....
