How often do you change or update your home computer?

I was just wondering as I think mine is slowly dying. I need a new one. sad

home - when it is broken or completely out of date ... which basically means every 4 or 5 years.

work - we lease, so every 3 years.

when its died, even then I still hope it may resurrect its self, they're so expensive I try to delay it as long as possible.

Computers are usually considered obsolete after about 5 or six years, I used to wast money getting someone to prolong the life which can be very expensive. Just buy a new one. confused

I could but he charges a fortune. The computer itself must be about 6 years old, I would rather just get a new one, because I hate this old box.

It was updated and repaired not so long ago. Hopefully I will get a new one for Christmas. Then I will be asking questions about which computer is best for me. lol

yeah, me either. I went back to work for a few days in a normal office, my productivity was so low, switching between windows all the time disbelief I HATED it!
