They are setting up all the stadiums and arenas in SD up as Fire Shelters.

getting close to 300K people alone in San Diego County being forced to leave.

That's more than the people evacuated for Hurricane Katrina.

More than likely evacuated somewhere safe, cause they aren't taking any chances in a lot of areas. Which seems to be running smoothly. Just left the Stadium, lots of people and businesses there helping out. There just as much attention being paid to pets and animals as to the people which is a great thing. All VCAs are offering free shelter to pets til Nov.

Dang! they've closed all the schools in the County for tomorrow, I just got my official phone call. No work tomorrow, I suppose, funny how unsettling that is.

Good the Navy is taking action and helping out, they got a high surplus of cots and stuff. The Governor was here just a few hours ago, I'm sure by now he's gone to LA now. It's sad one of our news anchors just watched his house burn to the ground.

As I said months ago on pandr, many psychics predicted this, and that it would get worse, I would explore all options, no matter how seemingly crazy, about how these were started. Remember that strange smell in New York last year? http://prince.org/msg/105/227452

in SD they are.

i'm shocked at the lack of National Attention it's getting.

some are reporting upto 300,000 people have been evacuated.

last i saw on local news it's only going to get worse tonight.

My roommate and his bf are at Qualcom Stadium helping out. I'm at home nursing an infection otherwise I'd might be there as well.

that is the most upto date info on where the fire is.

For Lake Arrowhead..... I have taken many orgers there... one of my favorite haunts... tragic...

Oh dear.... 139 houses gone and 0 containment firefighters are ordered to retreat tonight... not good ... not good at all....

California has had its driest year in history....and laid waste in recent times as Predom and many will remember once again is in cinders...

pray The storybook inn survives... good people providing a beautiful service.

President has just declared State of Emergency in San Diego. Would advise anyone traveling here not to come unless necessary. Evacuations in parts of Del Mar(far north), Chula Vista(far south), now Spring Valley(east). All Westfield shopping centers have been turned into evacuation locations, other locations are full to compacity. No garbage collection today, will resume tomorrow. Airport still open. Those of us that live relatively close to downtown SD and coastal edges are pretty safe so far. Only 5% contained. Gotta go things to do. All yall take care.

I always suggest to donate to the red cross. My house burned down June of 1990, The Red Cross was there immediatly to help, real help. They gave us clothing vouchers to spend at Sears and emergency cash on day one. I am not kidding, they were the best, and they followed up on us.

We've hit the 500,000 evacuee mark last night. The smaller fires are joining together at this point to make larger ones. The winds are so high that water planes/helicopters aren't able to take off. I am so sorry for anyone down there affected, whether by fire or smoke. It's unbelieveable.
Oh shit, my hat done fell off
