MIGUELGOMEZ

These are mostly movies not broadway shows, so all you purists are going to have to forgive me.

1) Grease
2) Rocky Horror Picture Show
3) Rent
4) Jesus Christ Superstar

Not specifically in that order.

AND because of my talk in Minny with Carrie and Dan. I will rent THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

Oh yeah! "Jesus Christ Superstar." I like the original album the best, though it's missing "Could We Start Again." The latest movie release was really terrible, though. I think my favorite song from that show is "Everything's Alright," especially the way it builds to ironic chaos. biggrin

Whenever I think of musicals, I think of that Norm MacDonald sketch from SNL, where he can't understand how his fellow street hoodlums suddenly break into choreographed song and dance. lol

My favorite was just on TCM last night.

"My Fair Lady"

My class did that musical and I was in the company. But I loved the cast they had. Some of the most talented actors and actresses I've ever seen. And one of them, he played Henry Higgins, he's really talented and he had the most wonderful Tenor voice.

We also did "Oklahoma" the year b4 that, which was really good as well, but I haven't seen it in quite a while.

I've seen "The Phantom of the Opera," "The Lion King," and "Mamma Mia" on Broadway, and Phantom is one of my favorites as well.

I also like Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, Into the Woods, and a few more I can't remember.

I watched "My Fair Lady" to!! mushy

I LOOOOOVE musicals, much to the dismay of my family giggle
I'm firmly planted in denial
