I had Talia come to the org to see her The kids are at their fathers. My son I think I will surprise..... grandad and grandma are coming to see her Monday.


As she relaxes some and sleeps at my side... I wonder what shes been through. So little and alone.... she was number 11 at the pound. ( I learned here on the org that I didnt want to support puppy mills anymore.....) She was the one little one that didnt come to see me at the door. I tried for a second but could not get her to more then raise her ears at her bed... she was buried in her bed..

A gentlemen helped me select 8... who ended up being already adopted..... he came back looking for me and said 11 was a good dog.... I said well lets approach... over we went and when she saw him she came running..... He said come here i want to show you something else ... ( Made me nervous but I read people well an went to see.... It was his personal dog... he walks him to work with him...) |The dog was beautiful but its tiny head didnt fit right with its over sized body.....he himself was handicapped some .... God is good....

He takes me back to number 11 he takes her out and throws her to my arms... shes friendly enough.. they take me to a yard.... I play with her muzzle a lot... test her response to heavy handling ( kids) and I have lots of guests.... the breed can be funny... she waggles her tail and chases and chases every person that passes the gate... SHES MINE...

Main concern is her and small children.... There are 2 right over the fence... so I talked to their mum and said id like to socialize them with her as soon as she safely settles in for safety long term and reduce barking fits.

So over at the dog store ( pet co) we ran into lots of doggies... and she took grand acception to 2 full sized dobbies ( which were well trained thank God) Their owner suggested I socialize her with large dogs since she was carrying a napoleon complex)


Anyways twas a damn good day...

hmmm..not sure..i think Dorothy (Dot) is quite a cute name for her but then I do tend to give me pets quite odd names, suppose with a dog you have to be able to call her name without feeling stupid. Think it should be quite a short name.

OMG...our doggy looks JUST LIKE yours...

Ours is a mixed breed chihuahua, mix of a long-hair and short hair chihuahua. The only difference is our Chula has longer hairs along her back.

Very cute...are you ready for the high-pitched barks that will come with this breed???
