I wanted to either be a cartoonist (comic strip) for a living or a photographer...not too far off where I am now, actually.

I wanted to be an archaeologist, but then I saw Indiana Jones and it looked dangerous confused so I changed to wanting to be a record sleeve designer.

I wanted to be a professional soccer player for West Ham United and England. I then wanted to see out my career playing for Barcelona. Never going to happen now.

I always liked playing cops n robbers...War....figured I'd probably join the military (don't know why, but when I was a kid I always thought I'd be a Marine) but didn't figure it'd be my career choice....

...wanted to be a lawyer....and as I got older, a lawyer for the ACLU....

Child Molestor Assassin. Or animal cruelty/abuse assassinator.

This is so removed from where I am now. I do pray (if I ever do pray) that justice is served to those who commit this unspeakable crime. I just can't think about this anymore, because it happens every which way we turn.

I guess influenced by Western Society standards I always expected to have kids before the age of 30 and live in a duplex.

Luckily I always felt very strongly that I have plenty of time to first do what I want, enjoy my freedom and experience life as much as I can, before devoting time and energy on a new soul. The more I learn about life, the more insights and gratitude brings. And the better I get to know ME.

so the longer I get to travel up on my path, the more I get to share about these experiences with my future kids.

So no. I am not where Western Society made me think I should be. And I am happy to be where I am.

Professionally, I am doing what I envisioned and there is something big about to unfold itself in the upcoming weeks... The next step.

Life is fuckin' great! I have no regrets whatsoever. wink

I wrote a poem about it a couple of years ago, such a sap I am:

EVERY WOMAN

The Novelist who never got to be
The Scientist who never got to be
The Explorer who never got to be
The Doctor who never got to be
And the dancer
And the artist
And the poet
And the songstress
The teacher
The mother

Professionally yes, I work for the company and in an industry I wanted to and career wise my future looks is very bright. Personally however, not even close and no where near what I aspired for.
