Even if cupcake and I are together, I cannot fall asleep all cuddled up. Like, I'll lay there with him, and then when I'm REALLY tired, I de-tangle and I go to my corner of the bed. It's interesting how different people are. You can learn a lot about a person's sleep style. Same here. I'll cuddle and intertwine with the missus and doze but when I really want to get to sleep properly I roll over and get into my regular sleeping position.

. . .I'm naked and sharing a set of very good sheets with a very good lover. Clothes in bed bug me (even on the other person, if we're cuddling), going to bed alone makes me sad, and good sheets make me happy.
I like it on the cool side. And no down/feather crap; I'm allergic, plus I don't like being wrapped in slaughterhouse byproducts, as a general rule. Dark. Quiet (traffic/city noise is ok, but no TV or anything like that). oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I just zone right off. It's to the point that I have to be careful not to have those "sleep songs" playing in my car while I drive. Otherwise, it's like: "Uh-oh... Brad's playing 'Moon River' again..." Absolutely!! Folks are sleeping (pun intended) on Brad....and of course, Kind of Blue is the standard... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

Me too, I dislike sharing a bed with anyone. I've slept alone in my own bed my whole life, so that's what I'm used to. I also like to fall asleep with the TV on in my room and a light on by my bed. If I sleep in total darkness, I have nightmares. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I will say that the weirdest sleep jazz cd I listen to on occasion is Heavy Weather by Weather Report....that 70's fusion usually isn't conducive to sleep, but for me it knocks me out.... If my mind's ticking over and I can't sleep I've got a load of Columbos on my Sky+ box that usually do the trick.
There's something warm and fuzzy about them that is hard to put my finger on. Maybe it's the fact that you never have to tax your brain by working out whodunnit (apart from when they tried to mess with the formula in the 80s - damn those episodes); maybe it's the long scenes and also the lack of technology, but 10 minutes of that shit and I'm flat out! pedantic errant apostrophe edit [Edited 10/22/07 5:36am] "Sheeeeeeeeit"
