I'll do a log cabin any time. The inside of tents always smell like mold, feet, and ass. I have to REALLY be in a good mood to put up with that. I do like open fires at night outside though. That shit is hot.

Fires at night rock. I just don't want to have to find a dry match at 7am to make my morning tea. |

I love the rain too. For a couple of days. When it's almost a month of it, it gets old. |

But that's one of the joys of fall...! ..um sorta..heeeeheeee...! Just be glad you're not where I am, we don't always get snow because we sit on the sea. But we get daily rains in winter. OH, and the days in mid winter only have sunlight from 9-4

You have all heard my rants about, it never rains in southern california...but here goes again! We need rain so bad it hurts!! It has not really really rained in Santa Barbara in months!! maybe since, like april. It poured for exactly 5 minutes, 3 weeks ago. And it drizzled for about 5 hours last friday night. But, that's it.

I'm still sick of it, but it warmed up a bit so it's not bothering me tonight. I've been sitting by my open window under a blanket and listening to it while drinking tea and reading. |

Dear, dear, Carrie -- Tennessee's been in the midst of a drought for the better part of a year. This past week, I've been putting down grass seed where parts of my front lawn have died. We've been praying for tornadoes and storm systems, just to put a dent in our drought...
Wanna trade, dearie? | |
