log cabins actually qualify as camping to me. lol

Ah. See my friends who actually camp are hardcore. It's really actual real camping, tents and cooking on open fires and all.

I'll do a log cabin any time. smile

The inside of tents always smell like mold, feet, and ass. I have to REALLY be in a good mood to put up with that.

I do like open fires at night outside though. That shit is hot.

Oh, agreed. Fires at night rock.

I just don't want to have to find a dry match at 7am to make my morning tea. neutral

The last time I went "camping" it was a couple summers ago and it was for one night only and I slept in my friend's air conditioned camper/trailer/thing in a queen-sized "bed". lol

That's it. I'm organizing an Org Invasion "Smokey Mountain" camping trip.

thumbs up! awesome

I love the rain too. For a couple of days. When it's almost a month of it, it gets old. neutral

But that's one of the joys of fall...!

..um sorta..heeeeheeee...!

Just be glad you're not where I am, we don't always get snow because we sit on the sea. But we get daily rains in winter. OH, and the days in mid winter only have sunlight from 9-4 mad . Talk about making you wanna stay in & eat cake and stay under blankets all the time...so not a good time of year for the waistline neutral

It rains everyday here through July , August, and parts of September.

AND it floods. If not wearing shorts one has to seriously master the art of the pant-roll just to make it across the streets sometimes nod

You have all heard my rants about, it never rains in southern california...but here goes again! We need rain so bad it hurts!! It has not really really rained in Santa Barbara in months!! maybe since, like april. It poured for exactly 5 minutes, 3 weeks ago. And it drizzled for about 5 hours last friday night. But, that's it. sad

It's been beautiful here all fall, only rained a few days. nana

Nah, just kidding. comfort Rain is no fun at ALL. Maybe if you buy a new umbrella, a cute pink or a flashy red one? That might make you feel a bit better. hug

ummm... I live in Minnesota, remember? lol In the winter it's dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home. There is snow on the ground for months and the temperatures get so cold sometimes your eyeballs could freeze if you're not careful. So yeah. I get pissy when my fall is all yucky. lol

I'm sick of it too. I can't finish my yardwork. It's supposed to be sunny all day Saturday. If it is I can do it then.

I'm still sick of it, but it warmed up a bit so it's not bothering me tonight. I've been sitting by my open window under a blanket and listening to it while drinking tea and reading.

Dear, dear, Carrie -- Tennessee's been in the midst of a drought for the better part of a year. This past week, I've been putting down grass seed where parts of my front lawn have died. We've been praying for tornadoes and storm systems, just to put a dent in our drought...

Wanna trade, dearie?
