I love the mountains.

We took Igopogo for a drive to the northern end of the Appalachians in the Alleghany mountains this past weekend. Finally came up with someplace he hadn't been to yet. It's very similar to where you live except we have killer winters here. Big time ski country. cool

Here is a view from a boat, looking over Santa Barbara are our beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains. We are always referred to as "The American Riviera"

Thanks for the photos smile It's funny but I feel a sort of connection with the Appalachians since reading Bill Bryson's book of his attempt at the AT. Funny how some people can take you places without needing to go there. The magic of story telling eh.
