 This place is not so much a greasy spoon, it is more where you can find me any given sunday morning on the outdoor deck, reading the paper, drinking my coffee, eating my favorite pancakes!! It is called "The Brown Pelican" and as seen in the pics, it is on the beach about 5 minutes from my house. It is my favorite place to grab a bite and relax. They serve, breakfast, lunch and dinner..and even have a snack bar on the side, in case you are coming straight off the beach!   | |

Seeing that it was you that started the thread I figured it might be some kind of advanced sexual position. Spooning...with grease?  A cafe with simple, greasy comfort food. It usually refers to a place that serves breakfasts, primarily. Best after a long night of drinking, etc. Aah, those! Well in that case mine is Joyfull (don't you just love Japanese spelling?). Great food (especially the Yakiniku set), great service and unlimited soft drinks. It's too bad it's all the way over in Iwata.

The Seward. And it's so NOT high concept. It's practically no concept. actually a cooperative anything is pretty high concept. the people who work there would beg to differ with you on this and im sure any one of them would love to talk your ear off about the "concept"
