When someone knowingly misleads you and hurts you and then isn't brave enough to finish things in a good way...I don't have a lot of tolerance for that type of cowardice.

As Insatiable said, we've all been both at one time or another in our lives...so it maybe more of an issue as to whether or not you've strayed from your path (which we've all done), or if you've purposefully made it your way of life as an adult (which speaks to something more)...

Yes. They may have been placed in an untenable position by a third party's cowardice or lies.

That's about all I can do...

And I agree wholeheartedly...trying to make sure things end in a good way and help with the understanding is a necessity. I spent 7 months with my ex-wife doing just that...I couldn't leave the marriage until I had.
