Me too!!! What do you teach? I am a teacher at the university for Aeronautical Engineering (The Netherlands). I have about 15 hours a week where I have to give lectures to students. I get to spend almost all of the rest of my working hours whenever I want to. That means I can work on weekends to compensate for staying out of the office during the week (or spending time on the org at work). I'm just starting out. I've completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and I will be looking to teach outside of the UK. I've currently been offered a position in Greece but I don't reckon I will take it. Ideally I will be looking short term to do some teaching In Barcelona and then next year in Japan. I will then look to return to the UK and study for a PGCE (General Certificate in Education). Once completed I will look to be a primary school teacher, teaching children aged from 7-11 years old. There's Joy In Expatriation. | |

Work in a Children's Hospital. The department is the Child Life Dept. my degree is Certified Elementary Teacher, with a Specialization in Art. Together, I make it work in the hospital and provide both art and tend to Education needs, such as school connections, homework arrangements and tutoring/instructional learning while in the hospital.
It's quite the juggle, however I am in the process collecting case studies, have been for over a year now. Since then, I have presented to our District and with the evidence, the District has provided us with a part-time Public School Teacher. Now... I am in the process of collecting case studies for High School needs... ~sigh~... during this time, I am helping with Algebra and classes I don't necessarily wish to be doing...  , but all for a good cause.
All this reminding, and now I must head off to work. I'm tired already and I have not even begun. I have a set-up tutoring time at 1:00 p.m. today... Algebra I. Why me!
