He's definitely "hip" in his comedy and his digital shorts have brought a lot more attention to the show than in recent years. I actually watch SNL religiously and I really look forward to it. It sort of irks me when people who don't watch it say "oh, it's not as good as it used to be" - I honestly think each cast has some shining stars and every season, for me, has some really memorable moments.... so far, I think this season has been great!
