The Cereal Thread

Is there nothing better in the morning than a bowl of cereal?
Well.....okay besides, that... no no no!

For us connoisseurs, cereal talk is serious business. I started out as a hardcore Lucky Charms man.

But I soon realized that I didn't like the brown oats part of the cereal, I was really pining away for the marshmallows. What a waste! So shortly afterwards I moved on to Cap'n Crunch. Mmmmm....

But ultimately, I needed more variety in my cereal. So I moved to something that provided just that and the aura of healthiness. Raisin Bran!

Btw... there's lots of 'Raisin Brain' fakers and immitators out there, but us connoisseurs know that the only legit 'RB' comes from Kellogg's. Accept no substitute!

'RB' worked for awhile... a long while, in fact, but ultimately my sweet tooth won out and I switched to the cereal I enjoy today. 'Cinnamon Toast Crunch'

This shit is so good, it scares me sometimes. Crack couldn't be this addictive. Or at least, I don't remember it being.... Anyways... what say you?

Ugh, too sweet. A slice of toast, cup of tea and Prince Harry dressed as a Nazi taking me from behind please. Good morning.

Ooooh... that is delicious one also. When I'm not feeling too incredibly lazy, I'll drive to a grocery store a little farther away to get it. As an aside, the wintertime does call for the occasional bowl of Cream of Wheat!! Does anybody else besides me put butter, sugar and fruit in it?

When it comes to this, the instants suck...

I don't eat much of it, but every once in a while I'll get a box. Kashi makes a cereal that is a lot like grape nuts. It's yummers.

And once a year or so I get some Cap'n Crunch, or Frosted Flakes, or Cocoa Krispies. Just for fun. smile
