pretty much everything...my drug induced haze was pretty much over in '95...

I was about to turn 18. Had just started my second year of college, which was a fun year. Had recently spent a month in Europe. In love, optimistic. . . soon to be married to my future ex-husband.

Was this the org yet, or still the PPML? Regardless, didn't have my org friends yet.

Hadn't had my heart broken properly. Hadn't had most of my interesting sexual experiences (though, I had SOME ). Hadn't listened to much good music, aside from Prince. Hadn't done any drugs. . . had never even been drunk. Hadn't lived alone. . . hadn't BEEN alone.

Life was much more black-and-white. And much easier.

1997 was some year in my life, my parents died 2 months and 2 days apart...I was the lowest of lows, and then I became pregnant with my adorable daughter Michelle! I had my Michelle, 12-29-1997. So 1997 started out as the worst year of my life, and my daughter Shelly turned it around.

10 yrs ago...I was 26 and just moved to good ol' Oklahoma...my kids were 11, 10, and 4...and I was just busy being a Mommy.

I had moved to France a year or two before... globalization was on the verge of arriving, but not quite yet.

Was calmer times back then. And phone calls overseas were expensive.
