ROAD TRIP!!! (Hi Moonbeam, Paisley, CalhounSq, JDODSON and everyone else!) I just got back from a two week road trip across the U.S. and whenever I'd stop in a town or near a town I was reminded of my fellow orgers.
I live in San Diego CA and my boyfriend and I drove to IL to visit his family. We stayed in Paw Paw, and visited Chicago and Aurora (my boyfriend's hometown). We also visited his mother in Sandwich and while we were there we went to Subway for lunch! We were a few hours north of JDODSON. As I drove by Salt Lake City UT, I thought about stoping and asking Moonbeam to show us around, but we were on our way from IL to OR, trying to get to Boise ID to sleep then continue on up. We stayed in Portland OR for a few days and on our way home we drove through Oakland (CalhounSq) and Modesto (Paisley). It was a lot of fun, but I thought it was really interesting to be reminded of my org buddies by the signs on the freeway. Utah was beautiful, and we stayed overnight in Glenwood Springs CO. We drove through the Rocky Mountains and there was snow at the top! We took lots of pics. We drove along the Columbia River and visited some awesome waterfalls there. We're thinking about moving to Oregon. There were so many trees! Anyone else have cool road trip stories?

, Hello Vinablue ... did you pass by Phoenix?
Personally, I take road trips often..., sometimes with my best friends and even just by myself. California is usually my choice of destination. I love to visit Balboa Park in San Diego, especailly the museum there. I love seaport village... I simply love the ocean area. (((beautiful sigh))) (warm smile) There is also a very special place just outside Banning, Ca., called Idyllwild... located on top of this mountain, population of 2,000. (((Beautiful sigh))) It is one of the most peaceful, serene and beautiful places I have ever been, besides Canada. Idyllwild most definitely has a special place in my , I just went a couple of weeks ago. (((Deep sigh))) As for driving across the United States... I drove to Texas a couple of times. Perhaps, if I plan "Time" accordingly, next year for the Celebration... a road trip will be beautiful then, all the way to Paisley Park. Truly it would be beautiful to met you then. Beautiful Day...truly... P.s. How is the singing buisness going for you, beautiful Vina? Best wishes...

We went briefly through AZ, just skimming the corner on I-15. I have another friend in Mesa, AZ. When we plan our first Grand Canyon trip I will keep you in mind. I'd love to meet you! Love the architecture of the buildings there and the Photography museum. In Chicago we visited their famous Art Institute and it just blew me away! I used to work in Seaport Village. Assagios makes some great deep dish pizza and calzones. Yum. There is also a very special place just outside Banning, Ca., called Idyllwild... located on top of this mountain, population of 2,000. They are famous for their apple pies and they have a few vineyards. Its a cute touristy mountain town. We had an amazing romantic weekend their last Christmas time. I played my demo in progress for my boyfriend's sister and she said I reminded her of Bjork! That truly made me happy and motivated me to keep working at perfecting my craft.
