If it makes you feel any better I'm bored out of my MIND. I don't know how I'm going to survive the weekend. I even have to stay home from a birthday party tomorrow for being sick all week. Cause it's outside, a late Oktober fest thing and there will be tents and beer and polka and I have to stay home.

Miraculous recovery? Don't they believe in Jesus? Nah, it's not that. I just know better than to stand around in 40-50 degree weather drinking beer and smoking when I've been sick all week. I'll never get better then. My boss even told me (after telling me to leave work today) that I could probably drink my way through it this weekend.

I have a good boss. It all depends on what illness or "illness" you had/have. You could always go along and drink Coke, and slip a vodka in now and again without them knowing, still feigning your illness. 
If you get mighty drunk, say someone slipped you an alcoholic drink that disagreed with your antibiotics.  Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.
