My hijack didn't go too well. BUT JOHN TRAVOLTA WILL NOT BE IGNORED.

Basically, my question is this: Has any artist impacted American culture as much as John Travolta?

He actually changed the way we dressed, danced, and chose our music. Not once, but TWICE.

First, with "Saturday Night Fever".



Then, he came to MY backyard and got us all goin, "Sissy, get offa that bull!"



If you're at least 40, you lived through these life-changing times. Can you think of anyone who was able to affect American pop culture like the amazing John Travolta?
