My landlord told me that he is not turning the heat on until Oct 20th. It's fucking freezing at my place so I packed up the kid and the dog and went to my parents' place for the night.

That's the worst!! I thought I was gonna freeze last night, so I'm glad it's finally on tonight. If I had a child in the building, I'd be out for the night too. |

The window nip is the only thing. This is a flashback for me.

this is my favorite time of the year. I love to cuddle up in a whole bunch of blankets.I get the best sleep at this time of year.
Radiator heat is sooo awesome. I use to love spending the night at my Grandma's old house because her house always felt so nice with that soothing hiss of the radiator. And she used to keep her oven on too when it was really cold. Ah good times! Now in these modern houses all we get is hot dry air blown in our faces (I have forced air heating). I have to buy a new humidifier like every two years, seriously. Awwww I miss radiators.

I remember some nights, I moved my sofa to the outside of my kitchen doorway because I had to turn my oven on to get as much heat as possible. I'd bake and boil water. I still boil water on occasion to help humidify the place when it's sooooo dry in winter. Why not buy a humidifier?

I'm surprised she wasn't sweating. What's a freespirit schmockosy?

Georgia weather sucks... Wanna come to finland? It's about 2 degrees celcius (convert it yourself) and it's raining, nice, gray, wet SLOT, and it's windy as hell.. Very romantic AND lovely.. Allow me to introduce: Ms. Onder and Mrs. Donk! (o)(o)

It's fairly common in apartments. I've heard that, but I've never lived in a place like that. I think it would suck. I like to keep things on the chilly side, except once in a while when it feels good to blast the heat. Wouldn't want it to be kinda-warm all the time. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!
