In my building. I had to use, like, 3 blankets last night. But the radiator just started kicking out heat.

It's 47 degrees outside right now. Yay fall.

Another reason to detest apartment living. I used to hate that shit!! I'd be freezing well into November before the landlord would turn on the heat. I remember some nights, I moved my sofa to the outside of my kitchen doorway because I had to turn my oven on to get as much heat as possible.

The irony... I swear i got Florida and Minne as a two-fer deal... I am happy to no longer be wet and cant believe the difference a day makes over there!

I control my own heat in my apartment, but they turn it on in the cold months and off in the warm months to the whole building. They turned it on today, from here on out, I control it in my unit.

I'd bake and boil water. lol I still boil water on occasion to help humidify the place when it's sooooo dry in winter.

It's nuts how quickly it dropped. We went from WAY unseasonably hot to unseasonably cold in a day.

I actually love the feeling of radiator heat. mushy It feels all warm and toasty all of a sudden, but there's still that nip outside the window.

Add some potpourri & an orange peel to the water. You'll have a lovely scent floating through the place too. Sorry, just a happy homemaker tip!
