About a month before my 20th birthday, in a $8 a night room at Sawasdee Smile or Sawasdee Guesthouse just off Khao San Road. I was so nervous (not to mention drunk. I was picking the glass up every 10 seconds that evening, lol) that I couldn't perform the night before, but in the morning it happened and despite the dodgy surroundings and nature of it (green behind the ears foreigner, cheap guesthouse, thai girl, must be love! ) that morning really was magical. Kissed for about an hour after, just lounging around. Next day I asked her to spend her life with me and she said yes.  | |

16 and in the back of my parents Oldsmobile, they were in the theater at the time. They were watching that long Astronaut Movie, The Right Stuff. Our movie let out way earlier....so.....we had to wait for them...
