Wow!! It’s been a hell of a ride these past 15 months, but as with all things this too must come to an end . I just wanted to drop a last line before I go to ground for the last week or so of my stay in this wonderful, ancient land to say, one last time from over here….THANK YOU!! to every and anyone who dropped a “What’s up, take care!”, or went further and sent out care packages and goodies, or just had a quick thought and hoped for our safety....I can never say thank you enough for the support and well wishes.

Hey Y'all!! Here is the latest update....I'm finally out of the combat zone.... Flew into Kuwait last night and the prelim word is Wednesday evening wheels up and the big bird to the states is airborne....even though I've done this thing a couple or so times the sigh of relief getting out of that hellhole is still as deep as it was the first time....

and yes Emm I'm like a crack addict with out the sweet nectar that is the Org....

I'll pop in before we jet out..... and to all.....this thing is all over but for the crying.....

Yeah!! Back to Arizona and the temp is cool... and the mountains are home.....and the rattlesnakes are in hybernation, and the tamales and salsa are the bestest!
I paintballed with the kids years ago at the base,(whew! don't think that's a difficult group) and the biggest rattlesnake ever, was there, and one of the military guys picked it up with his bare hands and walked away with it, and took it to another location, out of harm's way. I would have needed a long pole, with a hook.....it had to be 10 feet long. It was wrapped up along his arms, but he held the head pretty well....and the wrapped body.
